Have a clear-out of un-wanted household items (such as clothes, toys, DVDs, etc) and help us to raise money for local charity Douglas Macmillan Hospice (The Dougie Mac) in the fundraising event, “Bag it Bring it”!
The Dougie Mac are in need of more stock to sell in their charity shops in Stoke on Trent. Here at Pinkstones Toyota, you can collect a charity “Bag it Bring it” bag from us, take it home, “bag it” with your un-wanted goods then “bring it” back to us!
At the end of September, we’ll drop off all the bags and £5 per bag in donations to DMH!
The Bag it Bring it Campaign is gathering momentum and we even had a feature in The Sentinel newspaper! Below shows a cut-out of our feature. In the photograph is Giles Broomhall, Pinkstones Toyota Centre Principal, then Joy Brassington, fundraiser for DMH, and Simon Pinkstone, managing director of Pinkstones Toyota:
We are running this until the end of September – so please join in, tell your friends, spread the word and help us to raise money for this fantastic local charity!!
On Facebook? Join in the conversation with us on our new Facebook Page – we LOVE to hear from you, so please let us know what you think and what you’re doing to help us
