So what is the Prius+ ?
Quite simply, it’s a luxurious way for up to 7 people to travel in 1 car, whilst also managing to keep costs at a minimum.
Who is it for?
The new Prius+ is mostly aimed for large families but adults can also find the interior very spacious in the back. Therefore it can also be a fantastic way for up to 7 adults to travel.
How luxurious is it?
There are many highlights about the new Prius and below are a few of them:
The largest resin panoramic roof increases the feel of space and is 40% lighter than a glass panoramic roof. It also has a higher level of heat resistance. The sunroof can also automatically close when you lock the car so the cabin is shaded while parked in hot weather.
Spacious leather upholstery 7 seater interior, with seats set in 3 rows. Each seat can be folded down independently and easily. Even with 7 people the cargo capacity is 200 litres. With the 3rd seating row stowed, this increases to 505 litres.
The 7-seater Prius+ offers the innovative Toyota Touch as standard. With a 6.1″ display screen and a Touch Tracer control, you can use the rear view parking camera, play your favourite MP3 songs and connect your phone via bluetooth. You can also upgrade this to Toyota Touch & Go to include Sat Nav, Online Local Search (to find nearby hotels, restaurants and much more), Google Send to Car (perform Local Searches at home and ‘send’ to your car) as-well as a range of additional applications.
On top of this the new Prius+ comes with:
- keyless Smart Entry and Smart Start
- Rain sensing wipers
- Heads-up display, showing your chosen information on the windscreen itself (e.g. MPH)
- Automatic dual-zone climate control
- 8 speaker DAB radio
What makes the new Prius+ so cost-effective?
The T4 grade Prius+ offers the lowest combined cycle fuel consumption (68.9mpg) and CO2 (96 g/km) of any 7 seater MPV on the market. To buy, the T4 Prius+ is £26,195
The T-Spirit grade Prius+ offers 64.2mpg and 101 g/km CO2. To buy, the T-Spirit is £29,445.
In comparison with other 7 seater MPV cars on the market, this is the most cost-effective to run and buy. When you consider you’ll be travelling in luxury too, this Prius+ is a car that is set to be a firm favourite for people who need a large car!
